I’m Lauren Vasil (she/her)
I once polled my Facebook connections to come up with three words that best describe me. The most common words people chose were creative, empathic, and (tied) clever/funny.
In the workplace, those qualities translate to a team player who is culturally sensitive, resourceful, and whose cheerful, can-do attitude brings people together.
Before I went freelance, my professional background included broadcast media, educational nonprofits, and multicultural organizations. My colleagues consistently recognized me as an excellent two-way communicator with a track record of forming outstanding working relationships.
I speak fluent Spanish and decent French. And as a triple citizen of the US, the UK, and Ireland (EU), I can help you wherever in the world you are.

MY BACKGROUND
After graduating with a B.A. (Hons.) in Spanish with French from University College London (UCL), I moved to the States to be closer to the man who would later become my husband. We’ve lived in Paris, London, New York, San Diego, and—soon!—Málaga, Spain with our three children.
Offline, you’ll find me working on my two memoirs, laughing with friends and family (preferably at the beach), reading, painting, cooking and eating delicious food, practicing Tai Chi/mindfulness, rearranging furniture, and listening to music. A perfect day would include all of these things.
